Day 1 – Arrival & Valletta Exploration
✈ Arrival in Malta and transfer to your hotel.
🧳 Check-in and some time to rest.
Afternoon guided city tour of Valletta – Malta’s stunning capital city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site:
- ⛪ St. John’s Co-Cathedral – a Baroque masterpiece, home to Caravaggio’s iconic painting
- 🌿 Upper Barrakka Gardens – panoramic views of the Grand Harbour and Saluting Battery
- 🏰 Grandmaster’s Palace (exterior) – former residence of the Knights of St. John
- 🛡️ Fort St. Elmo (exterior or optional interior visit) – site of the Great Siege, now housing the National War Museum
🌅 Free time in the evening for an optional seaside walk or dinner in Valletta’s old town.
🗓 Day 2 – Three Cities & Mdina Tour
🚤 Morning tour of the Three Cities – Vittoriosa (Birgu), Senglea (Isla), and Cospicua (Bormla):
- Stroll through historic harbours, forts, and winding streets
- Learn about the Knights of St. John and their legacy
🏰 Continue to Mdina, the ancient capital of Malta:
- 🔹 Explore its narrow stone streets and noble palaces
- 🔹 Walk through the iconic Mdina Gate
- 📸 Enjoy panoramic photo stops from the bastions
🍷 Lunch suggestion: Try traditional Maltese dishes like rabbit stew or pastizzi at a local tavern.
🗓 Day 3 – Gozo Island Tour
⛴ Morning ferry to the island of Gozo, known for its rural charm and dramatic coastlines.
Highlights include:
- 🏙️ Victoria (Rabat) & the hilltop Cittadella fortress
- 🌊 Dwejra Bay – former site of the Azure Window and a natural inland sea
- 🏖️ Swimming break at either Ramla Bay or Marsalforn Beach
🌄 Return to Malta in the early evening.
🗓 Day 4 – Departure Day
🧳 Breakfast at the hotel and some free time.
🎁 Optional last-minute shopping in Sliema or Valletta
✈ Transfer to Malta International Airport for departure.
